Floating candles provide a warm, relaxing ambiance which is just one of the many reasons their popularity is growing. Place Floating candles in your bathtub for an awesome experience for your party guests. Choose shapes and colors that match the theme of your party to add that extra zing to your get-together. Floating candles that are scented are an added bonus to an already breathtaking view.
For an interesting effect, add a few drops of food coloring if desired, and place some fresh flower petals and floating candles in the bath. You may also add some essential oils for scent. When guests walk into the washroom they will be pleased at the sight! If you have a powder room instead, fill a large glass bowl using the same method and place it somewhere on the floor or the top of the toilet tank if it’s small enough.
Some companies make floating candle holders, which can hold any sort of candle. If you want a floating candle effect and you do not have a specially designed holder to float the candle in, make sure to use a candle which is labeled as a floating candle, to ensure that the candle will hold up as it burns down.
*Please remember to keep your bath and shower curtain well away from the flames.
Have you ever used floating candles? What different ways have you used floating candles?
